Then they start panicking when they see the 3c clicks and start taking Adsense off whole sites to try and eliminate the culprit. 

This way, you only take it off internal pages that are obviously not SEO optimized for Adsense and keep the ads displaying on the main pages that really matter. they can be ones getting a ton of traffic from the search engines and you could be missing out on a heap of well paying clicks.
