Sorry I’m late answering this – I got a bit sidetracked with another niche I’m hammering…

I have to be honest, in the early days, I searched for niches just using Google and hoping – it didn’t cost me anything but it was very hit and miss. Mostly miss as it’s only really in the last few months that I’ve really started to fast make money online – my affiliate sales in early niches was only intermittent.

I could have saved a lot of time and made more money earlier had I known about Griz’s site and of course Vic’s.

But that’s water under the bridge.

Now I use SEO Elite to check on domains and stuff and Keyword Elite to search for well searched for keywords.

There’s not much getting away from it, you need a good keyword research tool or you are flailing around in the dark. What might look good on Google with millions of sites can all be competing for crap searches.

As for your domain, you could use the “trick” part of the name as a branding and use a title such as “Tips and Tricks” or something similar and set up a blog that talks about tricks in whatever niche you decide, be it technology, finance, health whatever you are knowledgeable about.

2. just bought bluetrick.com, which is old, but i have no idea what to do with it and i spent a small fortune for it due to excitement ($150) – which I could have used to buy one of the expensive keyword research programs.
